Regarding Recent Price Increases Set by the United States Postal System...

bar

Shipping The US Postal System has increased shipping costs once again. I have been assured by employees there to expect an increase each year. Prices for first class, priority, express, insurance, first class international, etc have all increased.

However, IN ADDITION to these increases, box sizes for first class, priority and international have DECREASED. In other words, anything over 12" X 12" X 12" is now considered OVERSIZED and will be charged a surcharge!

Also, permitted weights for first class have DECREASED and where, in the past, certain orders could be shipped first class, they will be too heavy and will have to go priority mail with the new rate increase.

There is a silver lining in all of this...We calculated the shipping cost to ship a 14" doll to Florida via US Postal System, with insurance. It came to over $36.00! However, we were able to ship the same package with insurance to the same address for $15.00 using FED EX Ground.

We have made every effort to keep our shipping costs reasonable and in many instances have supplemented what you have been charged with our own funds. Our pledge to you is that we will continue to do everything possible to keep shipping costs reasonable. We will continue to only charge you actual shipping costs plus the minimal charge for tissue, bubble wrap, shipping boxes, and peanuts. This may mean we will have to use alternative sources for shipping, such as UPS, DHL, and FED EX in addition to US POSTAL SYSTEM.

Please bear with us as we "tweak" our shipping costs and try to experiment with what will be most convenient and the most reasonable for YOU. In every decision we make, you, our loyal customers, are at the forefront. Other Options
