SEO218: French Corset/Bebe  This is an outstanding salesman's sample of a French corset made by Corsets C.P. a la Sirene Paris in 1910. If you google that phrase you'll find an ad that was printed at the time, advertising the corset for young women. The illustration and text are very interesting.
This petite corset is ideal for a French bebe , such as a Bru or Jumeau. The condition is exceptional . Satin sheen light colored apricot brocade with an embroidered or woven sunburst pattern. Original metal gourmets and original cotton cord to cinch the corset shut. Scalloped braid accents the top and serves as straps to keep the corset in place at the shoulders. The other side has its original 3 pearlescent porcelain buttons. Laced, the corset measures 5~3/4" across the bust. The hem is a bit broader to accommodate hips at 6". (Please remember this measurement is from the front with the corset laced closed) . The corset measures 4.5" where the laces are and approximately 4" from top to bottom on the side with the buttons.
