SEO241: Primitive Doll Quilt  This is a fabulous 19th century doll quilt. All the fabrics are original to the quilt. I'm not sure there was every cotton stuffing , as the selection of fabrics are fairly heavy duty. The underside is a sapphire blue gingham or check.The edging is a pink an white pattern. The topside features a band of a variety of early fabrics. a variety of textures and colors . The quilt measures 21" X 15" with rounded corners. Hand pieced and hand stitched. I see no distracting stains, wear or holes. It is really a lovely early doll accessory.
I sell vintage and antique items with a history; oftentimes items may show wear from a former life. I always try to note any serious condition issues. I see no condition issues, but if there are any they are very, very minor. Please email me for additional photos.
