SEO397: Cape with Hood  Very sweet 18th century wool crimson cape with hood for doll. Lined with original rose cotton lining. Monitors display slight differences in hues and colors tones. This is NOT a Christmas red. It's more like a turkey red or burgundy, maroon or wine. Condition is exceptional. One silk ribbon tie intact. The hood has a 1~1/2" wide ruffle. From top of hood to bottom of hem is 26". From neck to hem at back of hood is 20". The hem (measuring from one side, around the back, to the other side is 70", which allows for lovely folds, gathers, etc which fall from the neck area to the hem, when worn. The hood, where the head would be seated, measures approximately 12" from neck, up over the head, to the other side. From neck in front, around back, to the other side the hood area measures 6~3/4". Combine for an approximate circumference. Very, very lovely and condition is remarkable.
