SEO678: Doll's Quilt  This is an outstanding early antique quilt for a doll or bear, or simply for display. It is superb condition, with just two small spots, which I have photographed. It looks to be all hand stitched. The back features a glazed cotton with pale blue, cocoa, and turkey red. The topside of the quilt is bursting with an abundance of colors and patterns. The quilt measures 24~1/2" X 18~3/4". This has been in my personal collection for decades, but I never displayed it. Very unique and in lovely antique condition. It would be ideal displayed with early folk items, folk dolls, doll and bears. It would be lovely and framed in a baby's nursery. I believe all the fabric pieces are cotton.
I sell vintage and antique items with a history; oftentimes items may show wear from a former life. I always try to note any serious condition issues.
