SEO701A: Doll Trunk/Great!   This wonderful antique Victorian doll trunk features a dome top with original paper covered exterior and original paper interior, including a lift out tray with a domed compartment. The lithographed embellishments are colorful and original to the doll trunk. Original painted black wooden slats and metal slats. One leather handle on the side is intact. There is wear and some water stains to parts of the paper covering. Some wear to corners of the trunk, where it would have been handled a lot, some minor paper loss and some scratches to the surface, as seen in my photos. Please view all my photos, as they are part of the description and don't hesitate to contact me for specific photos, if you desire some specific areas to be rephotographed. There are brass colored nail heads that have been hammered flat, which may have not been the original way the hardware was visible, when the trunk arrived to its original owner over a century ago. I have photographed the back and underside, the inside and top of the trunk. The trunk measures 9~1/2" tall, 14" wide and 8~3/4" deep. The antique accessories are for display purposes and are not included in the sale of the trunk.
