BT3915SO: 30 Inch Feather Tree/Ornaments  What a wonderful vintage feather tree, circa 1920s-1930! This lovely tree stands 30 inches tall and has the desirable TWO TONE light and dark green goose feathers. Some of the original red composition berries are still intact and almost all of the original brown paper covering of the center stem of the tree remains intact. Original wooden base with original painted decoration. Stamped Made in Germany on the underside. Most of the branches are still fluffy and full with just on or two places where the goose feathers are sparse, exposing the wire underneath. Some of the branches have a tendency to swing back and forth and could be secured into a stable position with glue, if desired. Of course, none of the branches move when the tree has been decorated and displayed in one position on a table top, etc. One place on the main trunk does show some tearing of the paper wrapping--please see all my photos. The tree comes with an antique mercury glass green ball garland and all the vintage and antique and vintage glass ball ornaments you see displayed on the tree. Also, several lovely vintage and antique scrap and tinsel ornaments, including a lovely one at the top of the tree. This is a perfect size to display with antique dolls and bears! So cute! Please note, the candy container, reindeer, and other toys displayed UNDER the tree are for display purposes only and are not included in the sale of the tree. You will receive the tree and original base and the ornaments decorating the tree itself.
