AJGC65: 1760s Man's Portrait

This very rare and stunning hand painted portrait on ox bone is believed to originate from Russia. Handmade filigree silver setting is ornate and very regal in appearance and features tiny stones made of glass and some are genuine semi precious stones. Amethysts, turquoise, moonstone, etc. This can be worn as a large pendant, but would be ideal displayed hanging on a dresser or small wall area with a ribbon for embellishment. This measures 5~1/4" X 4". One small red glass stone appears to be missing , otherwise all stones are intact. Original undisturbed patina. Great detailing to the handpainted portrait of the gentleman. This dates circa 1760s! A very rare and exquisite piece! Cannot ship this to California or internationally.
