SEO347: Bone Necklace  This unique vintage necklace is from the 1960s and features different sizes of carved bone strung together to make a single strand necklace. The necklace is old and the original string or cord, although still strong and intact, looks darker in the areas where the pieces or nuggets of bone meet. The bone beads would benefit from a light cleaning or you can wear them as is, with an aged vintage look. The widest nugget is 5/8" across. The beads are graduated in size and work from largest down to the smallest. Very unique. It slips over the head. Placed on the table as a double strand, it measures 13". A great resource for jewelry making, as the stones or nuggets could be incorporated into bracelets, earrings, etc.
