SEO375: Large Cameo  Lovely antique hand painted porcelain brooch or pin. Beautiful and enchanting floral theme with large English or cabbage roses with various shades of pink, wine. Shades of pastel and dark green, sage, avocado. Accented with pastel butter yellow. Gilded all around the perimeter. This pin is prong set into the metal setting. Painting has a satin sheen when turned side to side in the light. Early C clasp. Pin has a subtle bend to it. The back is also gilded. The gilding has aged to a warm patina, more obvious on one half, compared to the other. The pin is very old and most of the gilding has been worn off. Please view my magnified photos. The brooch measures 2~3/8" from north to south and approximately 2" from east to west. Very lovely!
