DL0656: 43 Yards Lace   This is a powder blue vintage cotton lace bobbin style. It measures 1" wide and almost looks like hand crochet, but is machine made. A total of 43 and 1/2 yards on card. One length is 7 yards long, another 2 yards, another 1 yard, another 2 yards and the longest continuous length is 31~1/2 yards long. Some oxidation to parts, although I would say this only affects maybe 10 percent. This CAN be hand washed, but turns a slightly lighter shade of blue. If you are looking for a large amount of lace edging, this is perfect. Selling the entire amount, with card.
This extraordinary trim was acquired by a collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
