DL1106: Hand Made Lace/Eyelet  This charming cotton antique bed jacket has an abundance of lace and eyelet which could be recycled into a special project. It is very sweet and would display well, if you are not a perfectionist. There are some pinholes throughout, although fairly minor, and some small rust stains. The bobbin lace appears handmade; if not, it is a good machine lace, as flaws in some areas are not repeated throughout, which is one thing I look for when judging. The eyelet is machine made. We have priced the jacket as if it were all machine made, including the bobbin lace, and priced it for its value as a resource for antique lace and fabric. It appears to be perhaps a woman's size 14.
