LA123E: Dragons/Fire Breathing !  Antique cotton net lace with fire breathing dragons! A pair of dragons with a crest in the center of them have turned their heads, "fire" coming from their mouths. This pattern, broken by a clover or shamrock in the pattern, is repeated over and over. Lace measures 3/4" wide. Delicate picot edge. Wouldn't this be charming for a costume for a boy doll or even a bear? The lace gathers beautifully and, although the pattern of dragons cannot be seen when it is gathered, it does have a lovely appearance created by the gathering of the the lace. Very charming. Cream colored.
