SEO358: Beaded Bobbin Lace   A beautiful handmade beaded bobbin lace remnant. Beautiful craftsmanship, this dates to Victorian era. It appears this is a piece which has been removed from the original garment it adorned. The remnant measures 3" wide X 1 yard. Much of the lace is beaded with black glass beads. I would say condition is lovely, considering original delicate condition and the age. Some breaks to a few connecting threads or brides. One end still retains a piece of the original garment fabric, the other end is frayed where it was removed from the garment. Beautiful dark black color. This could be incorporated into a French doll dress, used to accent a costume for the theater, or even framed. It is very lovely. Please do ask for additional photos.
