SEO553: Beaded Net Lace   This is a lovely piece of Edwardian or Victorian era fine black tulle. I've examined this several times and can find no damage, but the tulle is very fine. It has been hand beaded with glossy black beads and embroidered with silk sapphire floss or thread and silver metallic threads. It features a "rolling" or meandering spiral pattern suggestive of a flower with star shaped embroidery intertwined in the pattern. There are two pieces , which appear to be in excellent condition. One piece measures 22" long X 4~3/4" wide. The other piece is the same width and measures 1 yard 19" long. Significant weight, due to the metallic embroidery and bead work. It weighs 2.3 oz on my postal scale.
