BT1176GC: St. Therese' of Lisieux, France
We have acquired a collection of vintage and antique glass findings for jewelry making and embellishments. All are either French, Czech, or early Japanese, spanning from the 1880s clear up to the 1950s. This one is petite and originates from France, circa 1880s-1910. Remarkable details for its tiny 5/8" size. This is St. Therese' of Lisieux, France. She is also known as the Little Flower as well as St. Therese' of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face. She is a Doctor of the Church also and her image is highly desirable! Please note the American penny used for scale purposes measures 19.05 millimeters.
