BTIM03: 4 Cards Buttons   This is a collection of buttons mounted on four cards. Some are set in a fluted setting, like a pie crust. Some settings are more simple, some are prong set. There are iridescent copper colored "stones", some are rosy rhinestone appearance, some a glossy hematite like appearance...one card has 9 rhinestone buttons, some set in a silver tone, the other 4 set in a silver tone which has tarnished. There are two rhinestones beginning to darken on this card, the others are still brilliant. The prong set aurora borealis rhinestone buttons measure 1/4" across and flash rose, lavender, periwinkle, yellow, green, turquoise when turned in the light. These were acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims. Please do email me for additional photos.
