DL0030: Fluted Iris Glass Stones  Exceptional Germany US Zone circa 1940s fluted iridescent iris glass stones in black. Gorgeous glossy black medallions--with a hint of hematite in color. These have a flat back with a small raised nib on the underside. Each measures about 3/4" in diameter. Coming from their original ivory colored tissue paper wrapping, each is perfectly exquisite! Outstanding for jewelry making, millinery purposes, etc. Each package comes with SIX stones.
These were acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
