DLREDB: Red Glass Buttons   These were acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
These lovely red glass buttons are unique and very elaborate. They would be perfect made into earrings or hanging from a charm bracelet. They could also be added to a lovely doll coat or sweater. The card displays 7 buttons. There are several matching pairs. Please review my photos. Each has been accented with gold and are very striking and beautiful. The fluted button which looks like an open blossom face with gold pollen in the center measures 5/8", to give you an idea as to size. Lovely vibrant cherry red, with ornate decorations of gold.
