LA1148SO: Hand Painted Silk Button  We were so delighted to uncover this antique hand painted silk button or applique, tucked away for decades in an old Broadway Department Store brown mini paper bag. This button is actually a silk covered disk, the back is fairly flat. The face has been expertly painted to represent the flappers of the period, circa 1920s. Mint condition. This measures 1~1/4" X 1~1/8". These were often found adorning silk garters from that era. Price reflects ONE button.
