This precious SIZE 3 Bru Jne Bebe originates from a prominent collector/dealer, who was a former NADDA president. This doll is from her PERSONAL collection. This lovely treasure has been examined by 4 doll dealers, with approximately 100 years combined experience between the four dealers and she has been found to be correct and simply divine! Palest creamy bisque, with bee sting mouth, beautifully painted in coral. Luscious painted upper and lower lashes frame rich dark blue paperweight eyes. Painted eyebrows. She has pierced earrings with antique earrings and no earring flakes! Beautiful shoulderplate with a suggestion of molded breasts. Head and shoulderplate marked Bru Jne and head is marked 3. Fabulous original kid body with bisque lower arms. We did not remove sweet antique French pink leather doll shoes (marked C.C.) with antique socks. Bisque arms, shoulder plate and head all in excellent condition with no damage. Early Chevrot body with kid lower legs. She wears layers of lace embellished underclothing, and a fabulous antique/vintage silk bebe dress embellished with pleated ruffles of wine colored silk (more wine that photos suggest). Accented with ivory silk bows and ribbons, with an embroidered tulle lace overlace. Full antique blonde mohair wig and a vintage hat accented with antique lace and silk. She stands 14" tall and is a fabulous little jewel! We have a generous layaway program--don't hesitate to ask!
