VC7846SO: 1079 Simon Halbig

This is an adorable Simon Halbig 1079 antique bisque doll, fully marked on the back of her head. She is lovely peaches and cream coloring, wonderful clean bisque head with no damage. She stands 29" tall. From my personal collection, she has been packed away for about 15 years. I have just now unpacked her from our move to a new location 15 years ago. Great detailing, excellent painted eyebrows, lavishly painted upper and lower lashes , cocoa colored glass sleep eyes, painted mouth with upper teeth, rosy blushed cheeks and a dimple in her chin! Pierced ears. Antique ball jointed body with original glossy finish has some wear to the finish, some chipping to the paint. Body is stamped in red Heinrich Handwerck on buttocks. Please view all my photos of her undressed for condition. And don't hesitate to email me for more photos. She wears antique or original underclothing (chemise top, pantaloons, several layers of lavishly decorated slips and a fine antique fine batiste dress with eyelet and lace embellishments. Antique pate and a piece missing in the back. Original very long human hair wig with long ringlets which cascade down her back. She is a lovely doll--great modeling with deep impressions, the incised markings on the back are deep, etc. A great example of this very popular doll! Antique socks (some wear) and shoes.
