VC7937SO: Cocoa Mohair Bear  A fabulous Knickerbocker teddy bear dating 1920s-1930s. Long cocoa colored mohair in lovely condition. I don't see any outright bald spots; there is a little thinning along the seams on one arm, some minor thinning to an area on back and behind an ear, etc. Very minor. The velvet pads appear to be original. Black floss nose and mouth, mohair on snout is a little shorter, more bristle like, amber glass eyes. Old silk ribbon around neck. Jointed at neck, arms and legs. He stands 17" tall. A very sweet early Knickerbocker. Head stuffed with excelsior, body with kapok.
