VT025: Presentation Basket/Doll
This all bisque antique doll is so sweet! She is
an all bisque Kestner with painted facial features, including painted blue eyes. She dates circa 1890s and is jointed with wire pegs at arms and legs. She is charmingly featured in an antique
presentation basket.
All original dolly and basket, except replacement wig.
Silk lining in basket is faded and starting to perish. Two
pompoms inside basket match pompom on little doll's knitted
bonnet.
She measures 4" and appears to be in lovely antique condition with no damage. Wicker basket is 4~1/2" across and almost 2" tall. It still has its original handle and latch. The button for latch has gone. She is lovely displayed sitting in the basket, lying down, or standing in front of it. A wonderful early all bisque doll! Please email me for additional photos.
