CC05MS: 36" Long Christening Gown  Originating from an extensive collection of antique clothing, this charming antique christening gown is very elaborate and lovely. It features a lavishly decorated panel down the front, flanked on each side with eyelet ruffles. The panel has embroidery and fine tucks. The hem is a 9" wide embroidered eyelet ruffle. This has been tucked away for sometime and would brighten with a light laundering and pressing. It is very good condition with one or two VERY tiny panels hidden in the pattern in front and a tiny separation about 3/4 of the way down, were one panel of embroidery has separated from a panel of tucks--just about 1/2" length. The dress measures 36" long. Shoulder to shoulder is 9" and sleeve length is 7.5". These early dresses are so charming displayed in a nursery.
