DL02BEANIE: 1940s Beanie   This outstanding hat or beanie features outstanding little charms and trinkets. Circa 1940s. Vibrant burnt orange and purple. It is marked Longfellow and is embellished with 23 charms, plastic and metal. Some tarnishing to some of the charms and some wear. Among other things, it features dogs. Liberty Bells, a shamrock, a heart with an arrow through it, an elephant, something like a Disney duck character, several footballs, a clock or watch, several sail boats, a picture frame with a black and white photo, a rooster, and Elmer Fudd. Circumference around is 18". Please view all my photos. Some overall minor soiling (mostly confined to the tab at the top where it would have been handled a lot). A fabulous novelty cap or beanie for a collection to put on a doll or bear! I sell vintage and antique items with a history; oftentimes items may show wear from a former life.
