SEO357: Betty with Teddy   Adorable original sepia colored genuine antique photo in its original mat folder. Someone has written "Betty Jane Johnson Age 19 Months 1925" on the inside flap of folder. The photo is is lovely original condition and the image is very clear of an angelic little girl with high button shoes, holding her beloved teddy bear. The image is exceptional, with the cherubic child cuddling her mohair teddy bear. The folder in in good condition with some very minimal or minor rubbing or along the edges of the matte. On the other side, the photographer's name and location (Tacoma) is inscribed. Eerily, there is a barely visible image transposed onto the mat of what appears to be a mother, father and child. Barely visible. I'm guessing the picture was stored with the one with the matte and perhaps bled into the folder over the years? Unique and a bit eerie if you are into paranormal things (just kidding). The folder measures 5~3/4" X 7.5". The photo, itself, measures approximately 6" X 4". This would be charming displayed with a collection of teddy bears.I sell vintage and antique items with a history; oftentimes items may show wear from a former life.
