SEO363: Edith Selbert&Doll   This is a very interesting set of antique photos. Three of the 4 photos have the photographer's mark which reads G.H. Wright Rochester, N.Y. and have indoor studio settings The other photograph is an outdoor scene. She is photographed with possibly her parents? One photo is marked in pencil on the back Edith L. Selbert age 4. The outdoor photo is marked Edith Selbert and her Doll. The photos are genuine antique and original, not reproductions. The outdoor photo with matte measures 8"X6". The matte is cream colored and shows some aging, a smudge on the side, as seen in my photos. The other photos are displayed on grey or taupe colored mattes. One is marked Edith L Selbert age 4. Paper residue, possibly from being in a photo album? There is a break to the matte at the bottom corner. Black and white, some are sepia. Some silvering visible on several when turned in the light, but these can be displayed where direct light is not on them. This minimizes the silvering. A very unusual find! A young girl with her beloved doll, photographed or time. Some winter scenes, judging by the clothing the little girl and doll are wearing. Also a feather tree is visible in the background. I think it is incorporated into the backdrop in the studio. Please view all my photos and have I have additional photos.
