SOA33S: Steiff and Doll   This is an extraordinary antique cabinet studio photograph. Condition is exceptional. From my own collection, the details are lovely, as are the children in a winter setting with a WHITE STEIFF teddy bear and an antique doll. These antique photos are delightful to display amid your old dolls and toys. NOT A REPRODUCTION. There may be some light or shading issues on one side--difficult to see if it is the original fabric background of the studio or aging of the photo. With a magnifier you can see two or three teeny dots near the little boy's coat hem. Please note, my photo is magnified and will enhance every flaw. Possible surface scratches, as expected with these eary 20th century photos. A lovely portrayal of a very RARE steiff teddy and a beautiful antique doll. The children appear to be from an affluent home.
The entire card measures 6~3/4" X 6". The image itself measures 4~3/4" X 3~1/2".
