QUILT1: Charming Country Quilt  This is a wonderful antique quilt, perfect for an early country theme. The colors are really outstanding and very attractive. All cotton with a very thin cotton batting. Underside is a charming green and marigold calico print, the upper side pieced together in a pinwheel pattern, using a variety of colorful prints. The binding along the edges has frayed thin in a number of places and there are a view areas where the pinwheel has worn away, exposing the underside fabric. There are about 7-8 pinwheels that show wear to some degree. This measures 80" X 89". There is a faint water stain which is about 12" square. I have not cleaned the quilt and suspect the stain will disappear with Oxyclean or maybe even drycleaning. It's a lovely quilt with lots of charm, but please note I am selling it as a cutter quilt. It is not perfect. I have displayed it on a bed with a few toss pillows to show how well it displays.
