DB4145GC: Wax Figure/Fabulous  A superb figure or doll for the Art Deco boudoir! So lovely, this doll would be ideal displayed on a bed amid lavish lacy pillows, or displayed on a vanity amid vintage perfume bottle and powder boxes from the same decadent era. This cloth bodied doll wears its original costume, accented with a metallic thread vest. Streamers of variously colored ribbon cascade from the mandolin handle. Lovely silk ruffle tulle at neck (one area of tulle ruffle has separated from ribbon edging). Delicate, beautifully formed wax hands hold the figure's original mandolin. Lovely wax face with painted features, so classic and stylish. My photos suggest a dent to the tip of the nose which I cannot see in natural light. Please remember these photos are magnified and will exaggerate any flaws. The figure 16" tall and is in excellent condition. One sole is missing from bottom of shoe.
