SEO212A: Couple Figurine   This is a very sweet porcelain figurine featuring a colonial couple with lovely shades of amethyst, lavender, blush, aqua, celery and butterscotch , accented with gold colored paint. The figurine sits on its original heavy metal and ornate base in a brass color . The width of the base is a bit under 6" wide and the height of the figurine, including base, is approximately 8.5". Looks to be in good condition. I see no repairs, chips or breaks. The back of the stand has a hole where a metal rod may have gone. Possibly originally a lamp? The porcelain has a combination of matte and glossy finishes, all original and appears to be perhaps earlier or vintage Japanese.
