SHAB121SO: Hand Painted/Vintage  This is an outstanding vintage porcelain handpainted cherub painting framed in a wood and gesso frame. These are so popular in shabby Parisian decor and Paris Apartment decor. This is an estate treasure and it still has the original kraft paper covering on the back. The painted scene features plump cherubic figures surrounding a young nude woman. Gorgeous rich colors, lovely feminine scene. Hand painted on porcelain. I don't see a signature; it could be under the frame, but I have not removed the porcelain from the frame to check, as the condition is so nice. The frame is very ornate with scrolls and leaves, etc. The entire piece measures 14" X 11". The frame is lovely with a tiny bit of gesso pattern missing in the very bottom corner. Really an enchanting image framed in an elaborate and opulent frame!
