SOA79: Dome with Silver Tray  This is a lovely estate find. A glass dome which is seated upon a silver tray which features a ruffled edge. There are no hallmarks or markings on the tray, but I believe it is silver plated. It has started to tarnish to a warm patina in some areas. The diameter of the tray is 10~1/2" and the mouth of the dome measures 5~3/4" wide. The glass dome stands almost 11" tall. Everything appears to be in lovely condition.
This would be lovely displayed on a shabby vintage dresser or vanity table. It would also serve as a great way to display an antique doll or bear under the dome! I sell vintage and antique items with a history; oftentimes items may show wear from a former life. I always try to note any serious condition issues. Please
