VC5723Gk: Lampshade/1920s  This delicious vintage 1920s era lampshade is in outstanding condition and appears as if it were never used. The body of the lampshade is a rosy silk and it has been covered with a sheer vibrant teal silk chiffon, giving the parts which the rose color filters through, an iridescent color. Beautiful decorated with original silk ribbon ombre hand crafted rosettes with metallic threads. Lilac, butter yellow and rose, all accented with green leaves. The top and the bottom have been embellished with lettuce edge silk ribbon trim. A metallic lace edging completes the very French looking lampshade. This would be ideal in a shabby Paris apartment boudoir! Lovely! We also have the sister shade to this shade, listed. It is matching bedlamp. This measures 9" along the widest point along the bottom and 6" tall.
