TT73GK: Hand Painted Tea Strainer

This is a very unusual and charmingly decorated tea strainer for the woman who has everything! It dates from the 1870s . It is marked on the underside with a very faint image of a flower W impressed into the bisque or porcelain–very faint and difficult to make out. This measures 6" from end to end. Beautiful white background handpainted with charming roses, two tone leaves, and plum colored smaller flowers. Gold gilt with raised 3D pattern. In the event you are not a tea drinker, it would be lovely as a “catch-all” for jewelry and trinkets.
