SEO502: Hat in Box   Interested in just the straw hat? Please read full description . Fantastic straw hat with original hat band in original Knox hat box. The original cardboard box is marked Knox New York. It has the trademark of the company featured on it.15 1/2" wide x 13 1/4" by 7" tall. The box is in good condition with some wear. Some paint splatters on box, wear around high points and perimeter of box where it would have been handled a lot. Two small holes on the underside of the box, one hole has pierced the side, some creases to lid. Please view my photos. The hat is beautiful and could honestly be worn by a man or woman. One could accent it with some old hat flowers and a vintage hat pin. Straw is in good condition. The inside band is soiled a bit from its original owner. Definitely sturdy enough where you could wear this. Hat inside circumference is 20~1/2", where the head would be seated. Sure to make a fashion statement, as it is vintage and you are not likely to run into someone else wearing the same hat. Due to its volume, USPS will charge a surcharge for size of shipping box. The hat, itself, weighs a mere 3 oz. If you have not interest in the original hatbox, contact me for a price reduction for the purchase of the hat only. This should help reduce shipping costs as well.
