DL0058: Soutache Black Trim  Still stored on its original cardboard spool, this old soutache trim is perfect for miniature scale clothing and projects. It measures a very narrow 1/16" wide. I'm not sure of the fiber content--it does have a subtle satin sheen to it, but feels like cotton. This trim was acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
