DL0065: Pair of Ivory Satin Bows  Outstanding vintage ivory satin bows with a faceted metallic accented ring around each center. They measure about 2.5" wide. The backs each have a transparent band which has been slipped into the ring--reminds me of lucite. I'm not sure of the original purpose of these--perhaps shoe clips or some millinery purpose. Charming. You will receive a set of TWO bows. These were acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
