DL0093: Old Peach Grosgrain Ribbon  Old stock vintage grosgrain ribbon, in an old peach color. This one does show a slight bit of dustiness along the edges, which I believe will launder clean. It's fairly minor and actually gives the ribbon an aged appearance which I like. This measures 1~3/8" wide. It appears to be cotton or a cotton blend--it does wrinkle when scrunched. Stable condition and especially ideal for millinery purposes as the ribbon has quite a bit of body and is not sloppy and droopy.
This was acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
