DL0158: 1" Steel Gray Grosgrain  Fabulous rich steel-gray grosgrain ribbon is vintage old stock, dating from the 1940s era. Measuring 1" wide, it is perfect for millinery purposes and embellishing clothing. It is very soft and drapes well . It has a satin sheen to it and condition is excellent. Original bolt indicates this is a cotton/rayon blend.
This was acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
