DL0248: Black Single Face/3/8 Inches Wide  Vintage old stock ribbon, dating from the 1940s era. This satin ribbon measures 3/8" wide. This appears to be a blend, although no specific fiber content is mentioned on the original wooden spool. Perhaps acetate or something similar. This was acquired by a costumer/collector who accumulated the finest treasure trove of vintage and antique European lace, buttons, appliques and other embellishments over a 9 year period, while living in Holland. During this time, she was able to travel to various parts of Europe to find these beautiful antique and vintage items and trims.
