VR903S: Metallic/Made in France  This originates from the original estate of a local citizen whose family used to own a textile and notions shoppe in New York City. Unused and stored away for decades, this vintage trim is French and has been stored on its original card, with original label reading Made in France. Delicate creamy white intertwined with real gold colored metallic threads. Lovely! Braid measures a hair under 1/4" wide . Please note, as with most metallic trims dating from the turn of the century or later, the gold threads have turned brassy in some areas and have a darker patina than others. Superb for doll hats, doll dresses, pillowtops, pincushions, etc.
