VC1065GC: FAB Satin and Lace Veil
This gorgeous wedding veil dates from the 1940s era and features a halo like headpiece, attached to a long gossamer quality silk tulle veil, which cascades down the back. The headpiece is wired and embellished with tiny faux pearls along the perimeter. The body is covered with an exquisite and elaborate lace, with an intricate braided or ruched ivory silk panel at the back. Tiny faux seed pearls meander throughout the satin. The ivory silk tulle veil cascades down the back, with a shorter veil, or blusher, and the longer veil. The veil measures about 46" long. I examined the veil several times and only found one teeny pinhole in the tulle, hidden in the gathers of the fabric as it falls. The headpiece is a bit flexible and will fit a variety of head sizes. A beautiful wedding treasure in lovely condition! Please click here to view additional magnified photos and click on your BACK button in your browser to return to this page.
