WD183SO: 6 Ft Wax Garland/FRENCH!  This incredible and quite extraordinary antique wax garland originates from an antique wedding display that was housed in a museum. It is FRENCH! Oooh-la-la! To die for, exquisite handmade wax buds on wired stems profusely shower a SIX FOOT long silk thread wrapped garland. I've never seen anything quite like it--hundreds of dainty wax buds, most of which average about 1" in length, have been blushed with a golden hue. The garland is also embellished with spun glass "flowers" with faces which radiate in a circular medallion shape. I haven't counted all the glass flowers--I'm estimating there are 50 or more. A very rare and beautiful French offering to embellish a dainty vanity mirror, to wrap around a display of antique dolls, to accent a wedding display. This could even be used to decorate at holidays, and in particular, would make a fine garland for a feather tree. The length truly makes this a remarkable item! And the condition is outstanding.
