Materials:A set of three or more old books
vintage ribbon (wired preferred)
millinery flowers
hot glue gun (useful, but not necessary)
This just takes a few minutes to create. Stack books one on top of the other. Select a vintage
ribbon which will coordinate with the room in which this will be displayed. In this instance, mauve
has been selected. Tie the ribbon around the stack of books snuggly. Then tie an ornate bow and either
wire it to the band or hot glue it to the ribbon band. Antique or vintage millinery flowers can then
be added by gluing to the ribbon bow. Display on top of an antique linen or doily on the edge of a coffee table or in the center
of a small side table or dressing table.
