Our Return Policy

  • We guarantee your purchase and are delighted to accept returns should you be unhappy with your items.You will receive a refund, minus shipping charges. Please note shipping charges are not refundable under any condition.

  • We ask that you contact us within 3 days of the receipt of your purchase, indicating there is a problem. You may call us at (801)669-3900 and leave a voice message or you may write to us via email regarding your intentions. Please note that items must reach us within 7 days from your initial contact with us indicating the return. International orders, of course, will take longer.
  • If you do not contact us within three days of receiving the item, it is understood by both the buyer and the seller that the purchased item is acceptable and a return privilege is no longer available.
  • Items must be returned in the same condition as when sent from our location here.
  • In the rare instance where an item is damaged in shipping, the normal return protocal of Dolls and Lace is superceded by any requirements of the US Postal Service or other shipping agents.
    Notify us immediately upon receipt of a damaged item. Any and all requirements to file a claim upon the shipper to obtain insurance refund must be followed and take priority over our standard return policies. The purchaser of any item damaged in transit must comply with all requests by Dolls and Lace and the shipper in regards to obtaining insurance coverage for the damaged item.
    Please do not return items damaged in shipment, as doing so will void the shipping insurance. Damage claims can only be made on items shipped with insurance. Claims should be made through the original shipping agent. Guidelines for insurance claims vary by carrier. Be sure to retain all original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item, as the shipping agent will request to examine them.
  • Returned items are relisted. In order to be courteous to our consignors, purchases must be returned to us using the same shipping method to get the item to you. We cannot honor returns where merchandise is shipped back to us using a less timely manner than the items were initially shipped to you. Please be courteous.
  • We cannot offer return privilege on patterns or items cut to your specifications-- i.e. ribbon, beadwork, lace, etc. which has been cut to a certain requested yardage.
  • We cannot offer return privilege on layaway items.
