Shipping of dolls and bears..........Please note that the exception to these basic shipping rates will be dolls and bears, due to their size and insurance costs. We will email you exact shipping costs.
Domestic orders: If you wish to have your order insured, and it is not listed as an option, contact Susan.
International orders: If you wish to have your order insured, contact Susan.
Please Note: We have worked very hard to make our shipping fees fair and accurate. When ordering, if you select
incorrect shipping fees and complete your order confirmation, you authorize us to recalculate, using the CORRECT shipping fees, and charge your credit card accordingly. If you are unhappy with our
fees, please do not continue through the ordering process.
In the rare instance where an item is damaged in shipping, the normal return protocal of Dolls and Lace
is superceded by any requirements of the US Postal Service or other shipping agents.
Notify us immediately upon receipt of a damaged item. Any and all requirements to file a claim upon
the shipper to obtain insurance refund must be followed and take priority over our standard return
policies. The purchaser of any item damaged in transit must comply with all requests by Dolls and Lace
and the shipper in regards to obtaining insurance coverage for the damaged item.
Please do not return items damaged in shipment, as doing so will void the shipping insurance.
Damage claims can only be made on items shipped with insurance.
Claims should be made through the original shipping agent. Guidelines for insurance claims vary by carrier.
Be sure to retain all original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item, as the shipping agent will request to examine them.
